Abigail had a field trip this past Friday. We went to the New Berlin Police Station, Fire Station, McD's for lunch then to Miller Park for a tour. It was a long 6 hours with 96 first graders, but it was so worth every minute!

Standing with all of the first and second graders getting ready to sing and dance.

Abigail in her Captain Vegetable cape, that Great Grandma Tomczyk made. She also made capes for Lillian and Jack too :)
Abigail's spring concert was so cute, all of the kids really got into their parts. Good job Abigail!

This was our first trip to the Zoo :) The weather was great and there were not too many people when you are the first ones at the Zoo! We saw all of our favorite animals, played on the playground and had ice cream before we left, what a GREAT morning!!!!

Easter Party at Lillian School

Running for the eggs!
Lillian took this photo of the Easter bag she made.

Also this week I had a chance to volunteer at Lillian's school for an Easter party. They made two crafts, had a small lunch, and then looked for eggs outside. The party was a hit with all of the kids:)

Lillian wanting to show all of her eggs that she found.
This morning, I took the three kids to Kayla and Molly church for breakfast, crafts, an egg hunt and music. We all had so much fun!
Abigail and Kayla go to Ronald Reagan together and are both in first grade. And Lillian and Molly also go to the same Junior Kindergarten program at Hales Corners Lutheran. Jack is still the only boy :( I will find him some friends hopefully over the summer.
The kids and I have become very close with their family and do many things together, we are all thankful that they are part of our lives:)
