Vacation Bible School

Here are some photos of when the kids attended VBS this past week at Hales Corners Lutheran. They had a great time with their friends.

Today-Strawberry Picking!

Today Kari and I packed up the five kids into her minivan and headed out for lunch, a little run around Apple Holler and then Strawberry picking. Needless to say I am exhausted and the kids are already bored.

Abigail and Tris found the most strawberries and had a great time, while Lillian and Elise ran around the field and as we all know Jack ate his way though the field:) They were all really good and we all enjoyed being outside.

Our summer so far has been filled with many adventures, which I always share with all of you. I hope your summer has been as fun as ours.

Park and Bike Ride

The kids and I have been taking a bike ride almost everyday, we ride from our house to the park and sometimes we even just ride the trail. The girls are getting really good at riding their bikes, I would like to teach Abigail how to ride without training wheels!

Jack just loves the bike trailer and eating a snack along the way.

Abigail's Birthday Party with her classmates

Abigail had her classmates over yesterday to help her celebrate her 6th birthday. Yes, it was an early birthday but with the kids and I moving on the 1st of August we had to plan ahead.

The kids had a water balloon and squirt bottle battles. A pinata and the big water slide. It was fun despite the cooler weather.

This was the first time Jack got to explore at Betty Brinn. He had such a great time! The girls also had fun, we practically had the whole museum to ourselves.

Today we ventured out to the zoo with our friends also from the MOMS Club. We had lunch in the playground area, then walked around the zoo for a couple of hours, then ended the day with ice cream:)

Yesterday two of my friends from the MOMS Club and I went to the public museum with our eight kids and to a park for lunch. We had a great time with our friends:)

For the next several weeks we have our calendar packed with events each day, so you will be seeing lots of photos!

A Warm Summer Day

Kalahari Resort

This is the view from our room which was completely on the opposite end of the resort! It took about 10 minutes to walk from one end to the other. Also this was the only picture and time we spent on the balcony since it rained so much.

The girls loved the hot tub, and wanted to spend lots of time here. Lillian learned she can walk on her tip toes and Abigail learned she could explore without anyone being next to her:)

My mom, myself and the girls headed to Kalahari Resort in Wisconsin Dells on Sunday thru Monday. My mom and I can home exhausted which the girls came home with lots of energy! We all had a great time and are planning on going back at the end of July for hopefully some outdoor water park time.
